SC CHSL 2017 Final Results declared at ssc.nic.in. The commission declared the result of SSC CHSL Tier-2 2017 Exam on May 10, 2019, in which as many as 33966 unique candidates qualified to appear in the Skill Test (Tier-III) and Document Verification. Out of 33966 candidates, 21103 candidates appeared in the Document Verification. As the SSC CHSL 2017 results were postponed due to SSC CGL paper leak case, the results took almost 2 years. Various exams are being conducted by SSC, including CHSL (10+2) Exam, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA) and Sorting Assistant (SA) Posts. The eligibility criterion to appear in this exam is Class 12th from a recognized board or university.

How will candidates learn about their positions
"As per the provisions of the Notice of Examination, allocation of Posts and Departments to the candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-order of preference’ of Post+Department’ exercised by the candidates at the time of Document Verification, subject to fulfilling the required standards," said the notification.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established in November 4, 1975. The organisation works under the Government of India and recruits staff for several posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in subordinate offices.
It is headquartered at New Delhi. Presently, there are seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Each regional office is headed by a Regional Director and each sub-regional office is headed by a Deputy-Director.
